I’ve been with Valley Strong Credit Union since 1995 and have spent the last ten years in my “forever” role in Human Resources. My experience includes leaves of absence administration, compliance training, employee development, HR policy implementation, and leading change management efforts. I’m passionate about advancing the HR profession locally and supporting the growth of SHRM’s presence in Kern County.

Outside of work, I’m active in community outreach—volunteering at events across Kern County, from teaching financial education to youth to packing food boxes for CAPK.

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 29 years this October, and we have two amazing children, Lexi and Phillip.
